Africa

By Lily Yang

According to Philip Jenkins in The Next Christendom he says, “sub-Saharan Africa will already have displaced Europe as the chief Christian heartland within a mere quarter-century.” The data shows that in 2025 African Christians will have grown to 400 million from the current 200 million. God is indeed doing great miracles in Africa in the recent years. In this issue, Caren King shares with us her first hand experiences in Mozambique in short term mission and Joyce Yue speaks with her pastor Fred Tow about his Africa mission experience. Meanwhile Eric Vogen addresses the economic financial crisis and Esther Liu continues her series on a holistic understanding of spirituality. Our purpose in this issue is to raise some attention to what God is doing in Africa and hopefully this we will.
